Dubravka 1836 Restaurant & Cafe

We had a very nice evening at Dubravka. We were lucky to be seated with a direct view of the city walls and the fort. The food and drinks options were great, I would highly recommend the Dalmatian style steak and the apple pie. The staff was very helpful with recommendations and making sure we were having a good time.

Loved this place. Great location beside entrance to old town, in front of Pile Gate. with lovely views out to sea. Good menu. We had a couple of tasty breakfasts and a nice dinner there. All reasonably priced especially considering the prime location. And they offer a 10% discount for repeat custom. Staff friendly, attentive and took good care of us.

I orders meat set comprising of starter, main dish and dessert. Every dish is exceptional! Total price for this set is 35Euro. Reservation needed to make sure that you will get the table. Restaurant locates in restricted area of Dubrovnik so it is not recommended to drive here. We were back again for breakfast. Always the best! Thanks our server - Dragon for excellent service

I know why this restaurant is the highest rated in Dubrovnik. From the minute I walked in, all staff are attentive and friendly. The host Ema was super nice and gave time to give recommendations. The waiter Juraj provided outstanding service. I had the fish menu on their special edition Good Food menu running until 19 October. Everything was just delicious and well curated.

We ate here for four days during our trip to Dubrovnik. The pizzas are classic Neapolitan style and absolutely delicious. In particular the Burrata pizza to which I added proscuitto was amazing. The grilled vegetables are also a great addition. The staff are kind and attentive and the service is very quick. The views at sunset are beautiful with all the birds coming out and the atmosphere is calm but not dead. The prices are also very reasonable, especially in comparison with other mediocre, overpriced Dubrovnik food. Would highly reccomend.

We had such a wonderful time at Dubravka 1836! The food was incredibly delicious, and the wine was incredible! The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning, overlooking the sea and the historic walls of Dubrovnik. The staff was very kind, though it was a bit busy during the day, so they were understandably occupied. One of the sweetest moments was when two lovely girls offered to take a picture of my boyfriend and me. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and now we have this adorable photo to remember our delicious meal with a breathtaking view. We highly recommend making a reservation before coming because it’s such a popular spot and gets quite busy, especially during peak hours. Whether you’re looking for a meal or just a drink, this place is perfect for taking a break while exploring the beautiful city of Dubrovnik!

Ate here two nights in a row it was that good. Both nights the restaurant was packed and they went out of their way to find us a table on both evenings without a reservation. Very friendly and genuine staff made for a very enjoyable dinner. The food was excellent - very tasty, quick to the table and not over the top expensive, considering its location.

It offers a fantastic view at any time of day—perfect for both morning meals and enjoying the night scenery. The omelet is available as a breakfast option—highly recommended! The staff are also very friendly and welcoming
